Film A Week Ep. 14: “American Ninja” (Pick Your Poison Month)

“I will honor the code, father.”

After playing “Pick Your Poison” from a hat of three choices of cheesy action films (“American Ninja,” “Over the Top” & “Sudden Death, host Patrick Raissi subjects himself and Serg Beret to the Cannon Films classic (for some reason), 1985’s “American Ninja.”

Listen as the host try to make sense of the cheapness of action, the subdued acting of Michael Dudikoff and why the film is the perfect “Drunk Night” film.

Stick around to the end to see what next week’s theme is. Here’s a hint: It’s a game in which you can blow a 3-1 lead in.
